ALL IN with Keystone Canada’s Project K

With four Project K builds under its belt—a 2013 Jeep Wrangler dubbed Project Great White North, a 2015 Ford Mustang GT with plenty of goodies under the hood, and a 2013 Subaru BRZ sporting a wide-body kit and turbo conversion—team Keystone Canada expects the latest build, a 2018 Ford F-150 Supercrew 4×4, to be a smash hit. And so far, they’re right on the money.

“The Ford F-150, which will be given away at the 2019 Keystone Canada Super Show [for Keystone customers], is sporting some of the best of the best when it comes to parts and accessories—bread-and-butter names in the industry, as well as a few up-and-comers,” said Ruzzi. “It’s the star of the Keystone Canada Project K Facebook Page. Keystone customers, manufacturers, and consumers/enthusiasts can follow along and participate in some of the activities online. There will be many shop owner training sessions. Keystone customers are encouraged to use the vehicle at their own sales, off-road, and open-house events. We have learned from each of these builds, and this latest one is truly the best yet,” continued Ruzzi.

Where’s Big Red?

Project K continues to see a lot of action. In February, Jason McDonald and Ian Coneybeare of Keystone Canada drove the cherry bomb down to the Keystone BIG Show in Grapevine, Texas and then back to the Great White North—stopping at iconic attractions along the way and posting to Facebook quirky clues about where Big Red was on the route.

Additionally, Keystone Canada hosted a Project K educational/training session with Westin Automotive and Warn Industries last night—a great evening that gathered everyone together for shop talk in a comfortable setting. Here’s what participants have to say about Project K!

Keystone Canada, Right on the Money

  • “The accessories on the truck showcase some of the excellent vendors and products Keystone has to offer. It definitely makes a difference seeing them displayed on a vehicle, rather than only in a catalogue. I also really enjoy the Jobber Nights [shop training/educational sessions]. They allow me to speak directly to the vendor and ask detailed questions relating to products. It’s informative and gives me a better understanding of things such as warranty, fitment, and installation. It’s also a great opportunity to offer feedback, including any issues that might be encountered. The Jobber Nights definitely give me valuable information that I can then pass on to my customers.” – Jason Grew, Parts Manager at Vaughan Chrysler
  • “I do love those customer training sessions! Thanks for all you are doing. I like the activity on the Facebook page as well—keep it up!” – Steve Robinson, West Central/Northeast Sales Manager at ReadyLIFT Suspensions
  • “I think you are doing a good job organizing the vendors involved and keeping them informed of the program. The program has made a positive impact on our sales. I can’t say that I have any suggestions because the whole program has been a great added benefit to us. The Jobber Nights are seriously a one-of-a-kind event. If available, I would be willing to do this as often as I release new products.” – Rory Connell, VP Sales & Marketing at Advanced Accessory Concepts
