GRID Off-Road Wheels – For the Road Less Traveled & the Ones We Travel to Get There

Part of the allure owning a Jeep®, truck or SUV is the world of possibilities that are suddenly available to you with an off-road capable vehicle. GRID-Off Road, a relatively young wheel manufacturer based in Anaheim, California, offers two stunning new wheels for the road less traveled, and the ones we travel to get there.

GRID’s GD series consists of eight cast aluminum offerings all available in 5, 6 and 8 lug-bolt patterns and a variety of finishes.  The GD7 and GD8 are the newest to the series and announce their arrival with authority.  The GD8 is offered in 18×9, 20×9 and 20×10 inch sizes, in either a gloss black finish with milled accents, or a bronze dark tint with matte black accents.  It looks like a modern, sexy variant of the tried-and-true 8-hole steel wheel made popular by off-road enthusiasts. Big. Brawny. Beautiful.

The GD7 can be had in a 17×9 inch size, in addition to the ones available in the GD8.  It seems as though it is trying to one-up its new sibling, with a total of three finishes available. The first is a matte anthracite milled with a black lip for contrast. Second is a matte black with milled accents and last, but certainly not least, is a gloss bronze milled wheel with a gloss black lip.  The GD7 features a 2-piece center cap which facilitates access to locking hubs.

The GD7 and GD8 models were both designed using GRID Off-Road’s distinct signature undercut lip highlighting the detailed accents of each wheel. Both models have been a huge success at all of our recent shows.” – Tony Madrigal – Marketing Director for GRID Off-Road
