Our team of industry insiders is excited to make holiday shopping less stressful this year! Today’s post features a great protection option for your JK—Jeep armor.  So whether you intend to take your ride far off-road, or just make it look like you do, we have you covered with these solutions!

Smittybilt MAG Armor

Smittybilt may be the aftermarket name most synonymous with Jeep.  Having roots dating back to the mid-1950’s, Smitty knows a thing or two about living and playing inside the Jeeper universe.  They’re even credited as the creators of the original “nerf bar” side step! When it comes to trail armors, Smittybilt’s offering is certainly the simplest, and for many, the most practical on the market.  The other two jeep armor offerings on this list require a bit of “modification”… a softer term meaning that yep, you’re gonna have to drill some holes in your precious JK.  This is a thought that sends piercing chills down the spines of many casual and more seasoned off-road vets.  But with the MAG armor, the application style is right in the name.  So if you’re able to spell your name out on the fridge with magnetic letters, you’ll have no problem with this.  The custom CNC-cutouts match the lines of your JK perfectly. And at a triple-thick 1.6mm, protection isn’t sacrificed for ease of application. Plus the printable surface allows for a slew of customization options. The reusable tube allows for convenient storage when not in use.  Why we like it:  The no-drill easy installation means you can keep the Jeep armor on or off for as long as you like

Warrior Products Full Side Armor

Warrior Products is a leading manufacturer of exterior trail armor and equipment for the JK and late FJ Cruiser.  In a sea of aftermarket plastic parts, Warrior’s line features an array of durable steel and aluminum accessories.  Everything from fender flares to bumpers are all carefully designed, engineered, and manufactured in the USA.  The Warrior Side Armor takes a different approach from other exterior side protection. While others like the Smittybilt go with a magnetic ‘skin’ design, Warrior Side Armor bolts directly into the door panels of your JK.  This may intimidate some folks, but we think it’s a better solution in the long run for hardcore Jeepers.  Additionally there is no worry of theft or dislodging at highway speeds.  Why we like it: Ultimate durability and the uniform armor body lines give a clean “tuxedo” appearance

Fab Fours Door Skins

Maybe you have some beefy metal fenders and are just looking for a little door-only protection?  Well, look no further than the wild and crazy guys and gals at Fab Fours.  Responsible for such outlandish options as the Grumper and ViCowl, Fab Fours is no slouch when it comes to vehicle protection.  Part of their Complete Armor System the Door Skins require a bit of drilling, but are well worth it!  Made of 12 gauge steel, sticks, stones, and reindeer hooves are no match for these babies.  2-door?  4-door? No problem, they’ve got applications to fit both configurations.  The 2 stage matte black powder coat adds the perfect touch to any color JK (we’re partial to the Billet Silver Metallic).  As always from Fab Fours, these are proudly made right here in the USA.  Why we like it:  Legendary Fab Fours construction with a unique cutout design
