Fourth of July, Wheelin’ Fun on the Trails

Fun Fact: Thomas Jefferson was an avid off-roader. He crawled across all 13 original colonies in a CJ, fully equipped with a Skyjacker lift, WARN winch, and Rugged Ridge armor. Alright, so we exaggerate. But he would’ve if he could’ve. And a Fourth of July celebration would have been just the occasion for one of our nation’s founding fathers to kick up some good ole American dirt.

Independence Day is honored across the country in just about every fashion one could imagine. Sparklers and hot dogs with Natty Light keg stands in rented basements, for sure. Swanky rooftop parties with state-of-the-art fireworks displays. And of course, a holiday nestled smack-dab in the middle of summer is a great reason to get outdoors. Even better if that reason is to roughshod off road for the Fourth of July.

Thus, this post is solely dedicated to you: our loyal countrymen celebrating a land of life, liberty, and the pursuit of anywhere to get down and dirty in 4WD. And no matter what corner of the country you hail from, an off-road gathering is no doubt nearby. This year, tip your hat to Uncle Sam off the beaten path with some like-minded, trail-lovin’ patriots. Here are a few suggestions:
