2020 Limited Edition Vehicles That’ll Have You Rethinking Your New Year Budget
As we usher in a new decade, we’ve got our eyes on a few rare and exclusive cars that will be on the road in 2020. Here are our picks for the most exciting limited edition vehicles coming in the new year.
2020 Lexus RC F Track Edition ($97,675)
This track-focused car boasts some serious performance gains over the standard RC F. Engineers went to great lengths to reduce the curb weight of this car, including using hollowed out CV-shafts, shrinking the intake manifold and AC compressor, and changing certain suspension components to aluminum. They also installed lighter 19-inch BBS wheels (exclusive to the Track Edition), carbon-ceramic brake rotors, titanium muffler and exhaust pipes, as well as several carbon fiber body pieces.

Such hard work has paid off, as Lexus says that the 2020 Lexus RC F Track Edition weighs 176 pounds less than the previous RC F, and is able to blast from 0-60 mph in only four seconds! If you haven’t heard the sound produced by the 472 hp 5.0-liter V8 yet, you need to go check it out right now!
2020 Lincoln Continental Coach Door Edition ($116,465)
Back in 2019, Lincoln built and sold 80 limited edition Continentals. But these weren’t just any old Continentals, oh no. They started out as the top-of-the-line Black Label trim, then Lincoln turned everything up to 11—including adding center-opening doors. That’s right, the rear doors swing open from the rear, a feature which is commonly referred to as “suicide doors.”
Additionally, the wheelbase is lengthened by six inches, thanks to the experts at Cabot Coach Builders, who are also responsible for the door modifications and upgraded interior.

Harkening back to the infamous 1968 Lincoln Continental (which also sported suicide rear doors), the Coach Door Edition is back for the 2020 model year due to popular demand. Prices start at $116,465, but this thing simply oozes cool doesn’t it? The updated interior features a full-length center console, a wireless charging pad for your smart devices, and a rear-door-mounted umbrella for that extra touch of “posh”.
2020 Alfa Romeo 4C Spider Italia ($71,900)
This next entry is among the rarest on our list – The 2020 Alfa Romeo 4C Spider Italia. This special edition 4C Spider will be limited to only 15 units, across the entire globe!
Priced $5,000 more than the standard model, the 4C Spider Italia is recognizable by the signature piano black front air intake and rear diffuser, its exclusive Misano blue metallic paint scheme, an aluminum dashboard insert, and a special edition numbered plate on the center console.

The limited edition 4C Spider pulls its power from a mid-mounted 237-hp turbo four-cylinder that, thanks to the 2,487 pound curb weight, zips this special model from 0-60 in 4.1 seconds.
2020 Toyota 86 Hakone Edition ($29,870)
Building upon the success of the Toyota 86 (previously known as the Scion FR-S), the 86 Hakone Edition is “a love letter to the legendary Japanese turnpike.”
The Hakone Turnpike is a world-famous highway in Japan. With beautiful scenery, long straights, and technical twisty sections, it’s one of the best driving roads on the planet.

The 86 Hakone Edition is meant to pay homage to the Turnpike and everything it represents. The exclusive Hakone Green paint color complements the bronze twisted-spoke alloy wheels perfectly, and there’s several sporty aero bits which make the Hakone appear ready to take on the road for which it is named.
Infiniti Edition 30 Models
(Q50: $43,700, Q60: $49,700, QX50: $45,300, QX60: $50,850, QX80: $66,750)
Infiniti released several special edition vehicles in celebration of the company’s 30th anniversary. The Q50, Q60, QX50, QX60, and QX80 will all be offered in the Edition 30 trim level.
This special trim includes the choice of several exclusive paint colors, a driver-focused interior, Edition 30 exterior badging, and larger wheels finished in a visually striking dark chrome finish.

Speaking of driver-focused, all Edition 30 vehicles come with the ProASSIST package fitted as standard. This package includes innovative safety technology such as Intelligent Cruise Control, Distance Control Assist, Around View Monitor, Backup Collision Intervention, and Predictive Forward Collision Warning.
2020 Subaru BRZ tS ($31,495)
The Subaru BRZ tS returns for the 2020 model year with minor updates over the 2019 variant. The tS trim comes with an exclusive Ceramic White paint color with Cherry Blossom Red accents around the front grille opening and the rear bumper. A discreet chrome and red badge can be found on the grille and the rear deck.
Other notable differences include the smaller, more understated rear wing and the new matte bronze 18-inch wheels. Look inside, and you’ll find a lovely mix of black leather and Alcantara with red accents on the seat bolsters, seatbelts, steering wheel, door panels, knee pads, gearshift, sun visors, and parking brake handle.

The powertrain is the same as other BRZ variants, but the tS comes with a six-speed manual, and there’s a Torsen limited-slip rear differential to help you maintain traction.
2020 Audi R8 Decennium ($214,995)
Last, but certainly not least, is the 2020 Audi R8 Decennium, a very limited production trim (only 50 units for the US) which is meant to celebrate 10 years of the 5.2L V10 engine. Why pay tribute to an engine? The sound!
If you’ve never heard the glorious sound produced by this amazing V10 engine, I would invite you to give it a listen ASAP:
The Decennium gets a Mythos black exterior, 20-inch milled-cut wheels and an intake manifold all finished in matte bronze, a gloss black front spoiler, side sills and rear diffuser, and a carbon fiber trunk spoiler, side blades, and mirror caps.
I don’t know about you, but I’m getting excited for the 2020 model year. What vehicles are you excited to see this year? Is there another car you think we left off the list?
