SpeedFX Exhaust Parts Offer Affordable Power

Exhaust—we all want ours to sound killer. But let’s face it, manufacturers of mufflers are asking crazy prices for their equipment! And with exhaust parts, you find more sub-par brands selling sub-par product than anywhere else, so you really do get what you pay for. Still, it would be nice to find someone offering a quality product that’s not going to cost you an arm and a leg to bolt onto your car. Well, that’s why I thank the car gods for SpeedFX exhaust parts.

Offering powerful sound and reliable performance, SpeedFX exhaust parts are also very affordable and easy to install.

SpeedFX Glasspacks

Let’s start with glasspacks. Why? Because we all start with glasspacks. These are pretty much the first type of muffler anyone will ever buy. Now, I know and understand a lot of people’s—let’s say, disposition—when it comes to glasspacks. I mean, we all hear people talking smack, calling cars “glasspack fast” all over the place, but there is a superb value to be had with this type of muffler.

Glasspacks are affordable. If you’re a young kid just getting your feet wet, building a budget hotrod, or want to achieve the rawest engine note possible without breaking the bank, glasspacks are the solution. On top of that, they offer great flow characteristics because of the fact that they are pretty much a straight pipe. There are features built in to provide muffling characteristics, but there are no chambers and the exhaust can flow freely through.

SpeedFX offers glasspacks in a variety of configurations to accommodate most applications. Available in 14- and 24-inch lengths, they offer inlet and outlet diameters ranging from 2-3 inches and a case diameter of 3.5 or 4-inches (which is dependent on the inlet and outlet diameter). These units also come in a heavy-gauged, mild steel that is finished with the classic red paint you would expect to get with glasspacks. And to top it off, SpeedFX delivers its glasspacks at incredibly aggressive price points, which will attract hotrodders and truck owners of all ages and demographics.

SpeedFX Mufflers

Okay, so, I get it, glasspacks aren’t everyone’s dig. Whether the sound is too much or they just don’t have the right pitch, they’re simply not for everyone—and that’s a good thing. Let’s face it, everyone running glasspacks would be a total nightmare.

Although, if crazy idle notes and wide-open throttle that will wake up the neighbors aren’t what you’re after, you probably don’t want to rob your performance engine of a performance sound. SpeedFX delivers on that front too.

SpeedFX aluminized steel mufflers bring an exhaust note to the table that most every enthusiast will love. It’s a nice, low rumble with a mild idle sound level and an aggressive note when you get on the throttle, that lets you know it’s alive—without blowing your eardrums out. It’s a familiar sound that is a staple in the world of performance V8s.

SpeedFX mufflers are available in aluminized or black powder-coated finishes.

These mufflers are offered in two finishes: a raw aluminized finish or aluminized with a black powder coat finish for additional protection. The case length on these units is 13 or 14 inches, with overall lengths available in 19 or 20 inches. The diameter of these mufflers will either be 9” x 4” or 9.5” x 4.5”. Inlet and outlet diameters range from 2.25 to 3 inches and, of course, you have a choice in inlet an outlet positions too which helps you slide these mufflers onto any application.

Again, another benefit to these units is the price point. You can score these units for a fraction of the price of other leading names in the industry, while hitting the same level of sound quality and performance.

SpeedFX Exhaust Components

SpeedFX doesn’t just stop with mufflers, either. While you’re shopping for mufflers, it’s easy to forget some of the little things you’re going to need. Of course, while you set yourself up with a set of mufflers from these guys you should pick up some exhaust clamps and the good news is that they’ve got ‘em. Along with that, you can grab some header reducers and collector gaskets, if you’re routing your own exhaust system too. And for when you’re ready to put the right finishing touch on that new custom system, or your existing one, SpeedFX has a wide range of exhaust tips available too.
