Engine Dress Up Kits Deliver Total Package

Fellow muscle car nuts may have noticed: There seems to be a lack of engine accessories gleaming under hoods these days. And this trend is growing too, as many gearheads are just happy to get their classic cars running, let alone dressed up. Besides, with the used and collector car markets on fire, many ‘60s, ‘70s, and even ‘80s Chevys and Fords are priced way outside average budgets. It’s no surprise new owners may be cutting out anything deemed non-essential.

But quality engine dress up kits do more than just add a little eye candy under the hood. They showcase all your hard work! Dressing up an engine bay is like sprinkling garnish on a delicious meal or adding a tie bar and cufflinks to a sharp suit. These items certainly aren’t the star of the show, but man do they add a sleek-looking finishing touch. Devil’s in the details, right?

Besides, applying an engine dress up kit is something that can be done in an afternoon. That’s a pretty small investment for a noticeable pay off. Plus, many of the upgrades – like switching to silicone hoses or a metal engine cover – not only offer better aesthetics, but also more durability and longer lasting performance.

Think you can’t have the WOW factor of a spruced-up engine bay while on a budget? Think again. Plenty of affordable brands recognize the market for engine dress up kits and attention-grabbing accessories is still hot, and that includes SpeedFX. If you’re familiar with the brand’s brother-in-arms, TrailFX, then you know this is a name worth considering.
