About The Folds of Honor Foundation
Founder Major Dan Rooney served as an F-16 fighter pilot in Iraq as a member of the Oklahoma Air National Guard. Flying home with a fallen service-member onboard, he saw first-hand the toll such a sacrifice had on the family of the deceased. From that instant, he vowed to pay tribute to Corporal Brock Bucklin and formed the Folds of Honor Foundation. The Foundation formed in 2007 and assists military families with education and scholarships. The folded flag logo of the Foundation, also branded on the Patriot Boards, serves as a reminder of those paying the ultimate price for the freedoms we enjoy. A portion of each Patriot Board sold goes directly to the Folds of Honor Foundation to support the furthering education of military families. These aren’t just a truck accessory, but a symbol and a statement.
